World Bank report notes cost-effectiveness of resilient infrastructure

Low and middle-income countries could save as much as $4.2 trillion from the construction of resilient infrastructure, according to a new report from the World Bank. Investments in resilient infrastructure are even more cost-effective as the effects of climate change intensify, with potential savings of as much as $4 for every $1 spent, the report says.
