Concrete masonry students build town a greeting sign

A small army has been raising a new structure at the intersection of Park Avenue and Madison Street, facing state Route 417 in upstate New York. The army is made up of masonry students from Alfred State College, and the structure is a new sign that will welcome visitors to the Village of Wellsville. The effort is one of the final pieces of Wellsville’s Gateway Enhancement Project, a $300,000-plus project. To read more, click here.
